About Melissa

Melissa Eisler, MA, MCC
Executive Coach & Leadership Development Consultant

As a master certified executive coach (MCC), founder of Wide Lens Leadership, and Partner at Evolution, Melissa Eisler helps senior leaders navigate complexity, scale impact, lead with intention, and build aligned, high-performing teams. Her approach combines strategic advisory support with deep inquiry, candid feedback, and a results-driven coaching process to help executives, entrepreneurs, and teams identify blind spots, communicate with greater impact, deepen emotional intelligence, and cultivate cultures of trust and accountability.

Over the past decade, she has coached hundreds of leaders through immediate leadership challenges and long-term growth. Her clients span C-suite executives, senior management, and entrepreneurs across diverse industries and sectors—from startups, B-Corps, and nonprofits to Fortune 500s. Clients describe her as a trusted and empowering coach, strategic and creative advisor, and direct yet compassionate communicator—with a warm way of helping them address “undiscussables” and drive meaningful change.

She specializes in executive coaching and immersive leadership offsites and workshops focused on values-driven leadership, productive communication, feedback-rich cultures, resilience through change, and sustainable performance. Her tailored, holistic approach integrates a wide range of leadership frameworks, 360s, assessments, and modalities like group dynamics processes, mindfulness, and somatics.

Before coaching, she spent 15 years in senior corporate leadership, reporting directly to the C-suite and leading high-performing teams through IPOs, mergers, acquisitions, and high-growth phases. That lived experience gives her a deep appreciation for the pressures leaders face—and the practical insight to help them lead through complexity and change.

One of her favorite quotes is from Albert Einstein: “The mind that opens to a new idea never returns to its original size.” Her goal is to help leaders expand their perspectives, unlock new possibilities, and take meaningful action. Her curiosity about human behavior, leadership, and cultural dynamics has shaped her coaching philosophy—deeply influenced by her travels to 35+ countries and commitment to continuous learning.

She holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from the University of San Diego, a BA in Journalism/Communication from Lehigh University, a Master Coach Credential (MCC) through the ICF, and is a registered mentor coach. She is also working on her second book on building a culture of feedback in modern organizations.

On a personal note, she has a passion for transformation and personal development. Her own experiences and transitions through loss, careers, grief, and relationships have fueled a desire to step out of her comfort zone, overcome her fears, and search for meaning—and help others do the same.

An East Coaster at heart, Melissa now calls San Diego home. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, playing guitar, and outdoor adventures with her husband and young son.
